Every claim Axis Storage makes about durability, condition, or workmanship is backed by the written terms below. This page replaces any verbal promise from a sales rep. Where a category page mentions a warranty, the binding text is here.
Structural shell — 5-year limited warranty
One-Trip and Refurbished containers carry a 5-year limited structural warranty on the shell: corner castings, side and end walls, roof, floor cross-members, and primary weld seams. The warranty covers failures caused by manufacturing or refurbishment defects, not by misuse, modification, overloading beyond rated payload, or environmental damage (fire, flood, vandalism, corrosive cargo).
Used Cargo-Worthy (CWO) and Wind & Water Tight (WWT) units are sold as-inspected. The depot grading sheet — included with the bill of sale — is the warranty for those grades; there is no additional structural coverage beyond what the inspection certifies on the day of dispatch.
Custom modifications & refurbishment — 12-month workmanship
Fabrication performed by our shop or partner shops (door cuts, window installs, electrical, paint, insulation, framing) carries a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of delivery. This covers labor defects: weld failures, mis-aligned doors, paint adhesion failure on prepared surfaces, electrical wiring errors, and similar build issues.
The warranty does not cover: consumables (gaskets, bulbs, filters), damage from buyer-supplied materials, modifications made by third parties after delivery, or normal wear.
Refrigeration machinery — 6-month limited warranty
Reefer units sold by Axis Storage carry a 6-month limited warranty on the refrigeration machinery — compressor, condenser, evaporator, and control board — from the date of delivery. Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) results are documented and attached to the order.
Excluded: routine service, consumables (refrigerant top-offs, door gaskets, light bulbs), damage caused by power supply faults outside the unit's rated voltage range, and use cases outside the unit's design envelope (extreme ambient temperatures, continuous duty above rated hours).
30-day inspection & return window
Every delivered container ships with a 30-day inspection window. If the unit materially differs from the condition described on the product page or grading sheet, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

How to file a warranty claim
Email sales@axisconex.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and a written description. We respond within 2 business days with next steps. If a site visit or carrier return is required, Axis Storage coordinates and pays for any covered repair or replacement directly with the depot or fabrication partner.
Limits of liability
Axis Storage Solutions LLC's total liability under any warranty above is limited to the purchase price of the affected container. We do not cover incidental or consequential damages (loss of stored goods, business interruption, site preparation costs). This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer named on the order.
